Following a landslide on Saturday that, according to officials, swept one house off its foundations, the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) between Lions Bay and Brunswick Beach, British Columbia, has reopened.
According to DriveBC, the road that connects Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, reopened in both directions on Sunday morning at approximately 5 a.m. PT, ahead of its anticipated 9 a.m. PT reopening.
According to emergency personnel on Saturday, one house was thrown off its footings and the slide began in an area above two residential streets. Across a big roadway, trees and rubbish may be seen.

In an interview on Saturday night, they stated that search and rescue teams will use search dogs and drones to determine whether anyone was inside the house.
Following a windstorm that left hundreds of thousands of people without electricity throughout the South Coast of British Columbia, the landslide occurred.
